Rainbow Mountain
For our adventurous travelers: rainbow mountain! The trek through beautiful landscapes to finally arrive at the hidden colorful mountains is an experience to never forget. Rainbow Mountain is a well kept secret; it is a place that has recently been discovered by travelers. The hike to Rainbow Mountain takes one day and is challenging, so make sure that you relax before and after the trek in our casona in Cusco.

San Blas
San Blas is our favorite neighborhood in Cusco and that is exactly where Antigua Casona San Blas is situated! San Blas is the most picturesque part of Cusco and it is therefore a great area to walk around. San Blas offers beautiful panoramic views, the best bars and restaurants and is mostly free of traffic.

Sacsayhuaman
This enormous archeological Inca ruin is situated on an altitude of 3700 meters. From these impressive ruins you will have an amazing view over the mountains and the city. You can hike from Cusco to  Sacsayhuaman or take a guided tour to the archeological complex.

San Pedro Market
From traditional dresses to fresh fruits and potatoes, the San Pedro Market offers a great variety of products. Even if you are not planning to buy anything, it is a unique experience to wander around through the colorful and characteristic aisles of this traditional Andean market.

Plaza de Armas
Plaza de Armas is located just four blocks away from Antigua Casona San Blas. Around the plaza you can find beautiful historical buildings and churches. With the charming ambiance of the plaza, it is also an ideal place to sit and relax on one of the numerous benches.

Qorikancha
The Qorikancha was the most important temple during the Inca Empire. It was the temple of the Sun God. Visit Qorikancha and see how the Spanish colonists used the inca ruines to structure an impressive colonial building with golden details and incredible art.
